Luciano Burti

Luciano Burti, a Brazilian driver born in 1975, raced in Formula 1 during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, making fifteen Grand Prix starts. His championship record shows time with both Jaguar and Prost.

He debuted with Jaguar in 2000 at the age of twenty-five with a limited number of appearances, before racing more regularly in 2001, a season in which he drove for Jaguar and also appeared for the Prost team.

Neither year brought championship points, at a time when only the top six finishers scored and both of his teams struggled in the midfield and beyond.

Burti's Formula 1 career closed after 2001 with fifteen starts and two teams to his name, a brief spell during a period when several Brazilian drivers were competing in the championship.
