Roberto Bussinello

Roberto Bussinello, an Italian driver born in 1927, made three World Championship starts spread over the 1961, 1962 and 1965 seasons. His first two appearances came at the wheel of a De Tomaso-Alfa Romeo, a rare Italian constructor of the early 1.5-litre era.

After a two-year gap he returned for a final start with BRM in 1965. None of his three outings yielded championship points.

Bussinello's scattered appearances — beginning at the age of thirty-three and stretching across five calendar years — are typical of drivers who combined occasional Grand Prix entries with racing commitments elsewhere in the 1960s.
