Bruce Halford

Bruce Halford, a British driver born in 1931, made eight World Championship starts across four seasons between 1956 and 1960.

He began by campaigning a Maserati in 1956 and 1957, in the manner of the privateer entrants common in that era, before appearing for Team Lotus in 1959 and Cooper-Climax in 1960 after a year away from the championship.

None of his eight starts brought points, a record typical of drivers running independent or second-string machinery against the works teams of the late 1950s.
