Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc is a Monegasque racing driver and the lead driver at Scuderia Ferrari. A product of the Ferrari Driver Academy, he dominated the junior categories, winning the GP3 title in 2016 and the Formula 2 championship in 2017 before stepping into Formula 1 with Sauber in 2018. His impressive rookie campaign earned him a promotion to Ferrari for 2019, where he has since become the team's standard-bearer.

Leclerc took his first two wins in 2019 at Spa and his home-region temple of speed, Monza, and has since built his tally to nine career victories alongside a remarkable haul of 27 pole positions. He mounted a title challenge in 2022, finishing runner-up to Max Verstappen, and remains one of the fastest qualifiers on the grid, frequently extracting more from the Ferrari over a single lap than its race pace warrants.

For 2026 Leclerc continues at Ferrari, now partnered by seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton. At Silverstone he ended a winless run stretching back to 2024, winning the British Grand Prix under a late safety car ahead of George Russell and Hamilton. After ten rounds he sits fourth in the standings on 126 points as the Scuderia consolidate second in the constructors' championship.

Leclerc is celebrated for his searing one-lap pace and fearless commitment, qualities that have made him one of the most prolific pole-sitters of his era.
