Gastón Mazzacane

Gastón Mazzacane, an Argentine driver born in 1975, made 21 Formula 1 starts across the 2000 and 2001 seasons, driving for two different teams in a brief career at the turn of the millennium.

His debut season came with Minardi in 2000 and brought no points. For 2001 he moved to Prost, but the change of team did not change his fortunes, and that season likewise ended without a score.

Mazzacane's championship record therefore reads 21 starts, two teams and no points — and in an era when points were paid only to the top six finishers, a pointless ledger typically says as much about the machinery as the driver.
