Alex Soler-Roig

Alex Soler-Roig, a Spanish driver born in 1932, contested the World Championship across the 1971 and 1972 seasons, recording six starts in total. He was an unusually late arrival to Formula 1, making his debut at around thirty-eight years of age with March-Ford.

After a pointless first campaign with March, he switched to BRM for 1972, but the change of machinery brought no improvement in results and he again finished the year unclassified in the championship. His six starts across the two seasons produced no points, podiums or poles, and his Formula 1 career ended after the 1972 season.
