Tony Rolt

Tony Rolt, a British driver born in 1918, made three World Championship starts spread thinly across the 1950s. He appeared in the championship's inaugural season of 1950 driving an ERA, then returned in 1953 and again in 1955 with Connaught, the small British constructor.

None of the three appearances produced points, and the gaps between his outings — three years between his first and second starts, two more before his last — mark him as an occasional entrant rather than a full-time Grand Prix campaigner. His involvement in the World Championship ended after the 1955 season, his record standing at three starts across six years.
