Noritake Takahara

Noritake Takahara, a Japanese driver born in 1951, made two Formula 1 World Championship starts in the mid-1970s. He debuted in 1976 with Surtees at the age of twenty-five, then returned in 1977 driving for Kojima, the small Japanese constructor.

Neither outing yielded championship points, and his record closed at two starts across two seasons with two different teams. His move from the British Surtees operation to the home-grown Kojima team made him part of the brief wave of Japanese constructors and drivers appearing in the championship during that period.
