About Marshall Teague
Marshall Teague, an American driver born in 1921, made four World Championship starts during the 1950s, all in Kurtis Kraft machinery. His appearances came at the Indianapolis 500, which counted toward the Formula 1 World Championship from 1950 to 1960.
Teague competed in 1953 and 1954, then returned after a two-year gap for a final appearance in 1957. None of his four starts brought championship points, and his record shows no podiums, poles or fastest laps.
His loyalty to the Kurtis Kraft chassis across all three of his seasons was typical of American oval racers of the era, when the roadster builders of Indianapolis supplied most of the 500's field.
