Alberto Uria

Alberto Uria, a Uruguayan driver born in 1924, made two Formula 1 World Championship starts, one each in 1955 and 1956, driving Maserati machinery on both occasions. He debuted at the age of thirty.

Neither appearance yielded championship points. Uria was one of very few Uruguayan drivers to compete in the World Championship, his entries coming during the 1950s when South American privateers in Maseratis were a recurring feature of the sport.
