Forti

Forti was an Italian racing outfit that competed in the Formula 1 World Championship between 1995 and 1996, taking part across 2 seasons during the 1990s.

Like many of the small privateer entries that filled the grids of its day, the team did not score championship points, but its participation was part of the fabric of Formula 1 in an era when privateers and one-off entrants were a common sight.

Drivers to appear for the team included Luca Badoer, Pedro Diniz and Andrea Montermini among the 4 drivers who raced under the banner.

Forti represents the countless smaller teams and privateer entries whose participation, however brief, helped fill the grids and shape the character of Formula 1. Though it never reached the front, it remains part of the complete history of the World Championship.
