Bob Bondurant

Bob Bondurant, an American driver born in 1933, made nine Formula 1 starts across the 1965 and 1966 seasons. He debuted with Ferrari in 1965, at around 32 years of age, without scoring in his first year.

His 1966 season with BRM proved more fruitful: three championship points and fourteenth place in the Drivers' Championship, his only classified season. Over his brief career he was linked with five teams, including Eagle and Lotus-BRM entries alongside his Ferrari and BRM drives.

Bondurant's championship record closed at three points from nine starts across two seasons — a short Formula 1 tenure, but one that included a points finish at a time when only the top six were rewarded.
