George Eaton

George Eaton, a Canadian driver born in 1945, made eleven Formula 1 starts across three consecutive seasons from 1969 to 1971, all of them with BRM. He entered the World Championship at the age of twenty-three.

His association with the British team spanned the turn of the decade, beginning with appearances in 1969 and continuing through 1970, his busiest season, into a final outing in 1971.

None of his eleven starts brought World Championship points, the BRM machinery of the period proving unable to carry him into the top six placings that scored under the era's system.

Eaton's single-team career — one of the few in the championship's records spent entirely with BRM — ended after 1971, leaving him as one of a small group of Canadian drivers to have reached Formula 1 by that date.
