Peter Hirt

Peter Hirt, a Swiss driver born in 1910, made five World Championship starts across three seasons from 1951 to 1953.

He first appeared in a Veritas in 1951, then campaigned Ferrari machinery in 1952 and 1953, during the years when the championship was contested under Formula 2 regulations.

None of his five starts brought points. Hirt was already in his early forties during his championship career, one of the gentleman entrants characteristic of the World Championship's first seasons.
