Hermann Lang

Hermann Lang, a German driver born in 1909, made two World Championship starts in the 1950s, by which time he was already in his mid-forties. His first came with Maserati in 1953, and he made it count, scoring two points and finishing seventeenth in the drivers' standings.

His second and final appearance came the following year with Mercedes in 1954. Two points from two starts stands as a respectable strike rate for a driver whose championship career was so brief.
