About AlphaTauri
Scuderia AlphaTauri was the identity adopted by Red Bull's junior team from 2020, named after the company's fashion brand in a marketing twist on the usual energy-drink branding. It continued the role of the former Toro Rosso, racing from Faenza and developing talent for Red Bull Racing.
The team's standout result came almost immediately, when Pierre Gasly won a dramatic and emotional 2020 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, taking advantage of a chaotic race to claim a hugely popular victory. AlphaTauri otherwise operated as a solid midfield team and a continued proving ground for young drivers.
For 2024 the squad was rebranded once more, becoming RB as Red Bull brought it into closer alignment with the senior team.
