François Migault

François Migault, a French driver born in 1944, made fourteen Formula 1 starts during the first half of the 1970s. His championship seasons came in 1972, 1974 and 1975, with a year's absence in 1973.

Migault's career was spent with some of the era's smaller operations: he debuted with the tiny Connew team in 1972, returned with BRM in 1974, and drove a Lola in 1975. His record also includes entries with Embassy Hill and Williams.

None of his fourteen starts produced a championship point, and he went unclassified in the standings in each of his three seasons — a fate common to drivers of the period who campaigned uncompetitive or underfunded machinery.

Even so, appearances for five different constructors in the space of four calendar years illustrate the journeyman path many drivers followed through 1970s Formula 1.
