Silvio Moser

Silvio Moser, a Swiss driver born in 1941, competed in Formula 1 from 1967 to 1971, making twelve starts across five consecutive seasons. He debuted with a Cooper-ATS before moving to Brabham machinery, and finished his career with the tiny Bellasi operation.

His scoring years came in the middle of that span: two points with a Brabham-Repco in 1968, followed by a single point in a Brabham-Ford in 1969. Under the scoring system of the day those results meant top-six finishes, no small feat for a privateer entrant.

The final two seasons, 1970 and 1971, were spent with Bellasi and brought no further points, leaving him unclassified both years.

Three points from twelve starts, earned entirely in customer Brabhams, sum up a career typical of the determined privateers who filled out Grand Prix grids in the late 1960s.
