The 1967 Season

Denny Hulme won the world championship for Brabham, beating his own team boss Jack Brabham through remarkable consistency rather than outright victories. The quiet New Zealander's steady points-scoring carried the Brabham-Repco to a second straight constructors' crown.

The season also introduced the revolutionary Lotus 49 powered by the new Ford Cosworth DFV engine, which won on debut with Jim Clark at Zandvoort and would go on to define an era. Despite the Lotus speed, reliability handed the title to Hulme.
