Cesare Perdisa

Cesare Perdisa, an Italian driver born in 1932, competed in the World Championship from 1955 to 1957, making nine starts and scoring five points with two podium finishes.

He began with Maserati, scoring two points in 1955 and three more in 1956, with a best championship classification of sixteenth in the latter year. For 1957 he moved to Ferrari, though his outings with the Scuderia brought no further points.

Perdisa's record is notable for its efficiency: two podiums from just nine starts, all achieved with Italy's two great marques of the period, in a career that began at the age of 22 and was complete before he turned 25.
