Moisés Solana

Moisés Solana, a Mexican driver born in 1935, made eight Formula 1 World Championship starts across six consecutive seasons from 1963 to 1968. He debuted at twenty-seven in a BRM, and his pattern of one or two appearances per year suggests a driver taking selected opportunities rather than contesting full campaigns.

His equipment varied season by season: after the BRM debut he drove Lotus-Climax cars in 1964 and 1965, a Cooper-Maserati in 1966, and Lotus-Ford machinery in his final two seasons, with a Lotus-BRM also appearing among his career entries.

None of the eight starts brought championship points, and Solana was never classified in the standings. Even so, maintaining a presence in the World Championship across six straight seasons on occasional drives was an achievement of persistence in itself.
