About Lance Stroll
Lance Stroll is a Canadian racing driver born on 29 October 1998. He dominated the 2016 FIA Formula 3 European Championship before stepping straight into Formula 1, and across 198 starts he has scored 315 points, three podiums and one pole position.
Stroll debuted with Williams in 2017 and stunned the paddock by finishing third in a wet Azerbaijan Grand Prix as a rookie, the youngest driver ever to stand on an F1 podium in his maiden season at the time. He moved to Racing Point in 2019, the team backed by his father Lawrence Stroll's consortium, and took a memorable pole position at the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix. Racing Point became Aston Martin in 2021, and Stroll has remained alongside Fernando Alonso through the team's growth.
In 2026 Stroll continues at Aston Martin partnering Fernando Alonso. After nine rounds he sits 22nd in the standings without a points finish as the team works to recover form.

Racing Style & Legacy
Stroll is at his most effective in changeable, wet conditions, where his bravery and feel for low grip have produced some of his standout results, including that maiden podium and Turkey pole. A long-serving anchor of the Aston Martin project, he brings continuity and racecraft to a team building toward the front of the grid.
