About Aston Martin
Aston Martin returned to Formula 1 as a constructor in 2021, when Lawrence Stroll rebranded his Racing Point team under the iconic British sports-car name, which had last appeared as a works entrant in a brief and unsuccessful campaign around 1959 and 1960.
The modern Aston Martin project is a serious, well-funded works effort, complete with a striking green livery, a state-of-the-art new factory at Silverstone and the signing of four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel and later double champion Fernando Alonso.
